Problem 2: If v2=u2+2as and find the value of ‘v‘, if u=0, a=3, s=150 is given.

Solution:

Known: u (Initial velocity) = 0,
s (Distance traveled) = 150 m,
a (acceleration) = 3 m/s2

v2=u2+2as

v2 = 0 + (2×3×150)

v2 = (2×3×150)

v2 = 900

Final velocity v = ±30 m/s
